Under the expert leadership of our Managing Director of Imagine Nepal Treks, Mingma G, a team of 8 Chinese climbers and 12 experienced Sherpas stood atop the Everest summit, according to Dawa Futi Sherpa, Operations Director at Imagine Nepal Treks.
After the summit route officially opened on 9 May, the Imagine Nepal team under the leadership of Mingma G executed a carefully planned ascent strategy - reaching Camp II on 9 May, Camp III on 12 May, and Camp IV on 13 May. "This morning, during a perfect weather window, they made their final push to the summit," she added.
From Imagine Nepal, Chinese climbers Guo Dexiong, Mo Shaowei, Liu Xianling, Liu Ruiqi, Song Yuxin, Feng Xiaojun, Huang Zhimeng and Zhang Deqi stood atop Mt Everest. Phur Gyaljen Sherpa, Lakpa Tendi Sherpa, Lakpa Sonam Sherpa, Pema Chhiri Sherpa, Lakpa Nuru Sherpa, Dipan Gurung, Dawa Tenzing Sherpa, Ngim Dorjee Sherp, Ngima Chhiri, Lakpa Tamang, Ngima Nuru Sherpa and Angdu Sherpa also scaled Everest, Dawa Futi informed.
Meanwhile, Pemba Gelje Sherpa, Managing Director at Expeditions High Mountain Treks, shared that at least 10 climbers including record-holding athlete Sajan Dangol from his company successfully climbed Mt Everest this morning between 7:50 am to 10:00 am.
Michael Rudolph Gutwein II and Saurabh Bhasin from the US, Sajan Dangol and Pemba Sherpa reached the summit point along with IFMGA guides- Pemba Ongchu Sherpa and Gyalje Sherpa. "Ngima Gyalje Sherpa, Lopsang Sherpa, Chebi Bhote and Mingma Chhiri Sherpa also stood atop the world's highest peak," he added.
