Hyundai Nepal unveils festive Dashain-Tihar offer with scratch card prizes up to Rs. 10 lakh Dalit Round Table Conference: Only cohesion and union can carry forward the momentum At a ceremony in Kamaladi, Round Table Nepal President Pravesh Agrawal handed over the cleanup report to Nepal Life CEO Pravin Raman Parajuli. Representatives from the Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee (SPCC), Khali Sisi, and other stakeholders attended the program. Parajuli emphasized Nepal Life's commitment to preserving Everest, calling it "not just Nepal's pride but the world's jewel." Agrawal announced future plans to manage 25,000 kilograms of waste, noting that biodegradable waste had been disposed of below base camp, while non-biodegradable materials were brought to Kathmandu for recycling. With Everest increasingly at risk of becoming the "world's highest garbage dump," this campaign highlights the importance of corporate and civic action in environmental conservation.
