63 mountaineers granted Mt Everest spring climbing permits

According to the Department of Tourism, 13 women and 50 men from five different expedition teams obtained permits by Monday.
As many as 63 mountaineers have received permits to climb Mt. Everest, the world's tallest peak, for this year's spring season.

According to the Department of Tourism, 13 women and 50 men from five different expedition teams obtained permits by Monday.
Chun Bahadur Tamang, the Section Officer of the Department, stated that a total of 148 individuals, including 42 women, have been granted permits to climb various mountains, including Mt. Everest. Through permit issuance, a total royalty of 105.59 million rupees has been collected thus far.
In a press statement, the Department announced that three expedition teams, equally represented, have received permits to climb Mt. Amadablam and Mt. Annapurna, following Mt. Everest.
The Department reported that 478 individuals had received permits to climb Mt. Everest last year.
