Annapurna summit delayed KATHMANDU:At least four climbers have abandoned their climbing activities on Mt Annapurna (8,091 m) due to bad weather, while others will make a last try within the next couple of days, according to expedition organisers. “It’s already been three weeks since 26 climbers from three teams have been waiting for a fair window to attempt to summit the world’s most dangerous mountain,” Mingma Sherpa, Managing Director at Seven Summits Treks, said. Strong wind and storm forced four climbers to abandon summit attempt, he said, adding that other climbers, including Carlos Soria, 76, would make the final attempt after three days.
