Celebrated climber Nima Gyalzen Sherpa arrived in Kathmandu today. from Pakistan, after successfully scaling all 14 peaks above 8,000 metres.

Hundreds of people gathered at the Tribhuvan International Airport offering hero's welcome to Sherpa.
Nima Gyalzen has now become the first climber from Rolwaling village to successfully scale all 8000ers. He is one of the six Nepali combers to have achieved this feat.
Sherpa's latest summit was recorded as he scaled Gasherbrum I in Pakistan on August 11, registering successful ascent of 14 of the highest summits in the world.
President of Nepal Mountaineering Association Nima Nuru Sherpa, NMA and government officials, as well as scores of well-wishers received Sherpa at TIA upon his arrival.
Sherpa, founder of Dolma Outdoors, already has two climbing records in the Guinness Book of World Records, in his name. Additionally, he was the Goodwill Ambassador of Visit Nepal Year 2011, said Dawa Sherpa.
So far, he has climbed Mt Everest 9 times, Manaslu 7 times, Lhotse and Makalu thrice, Choyu and Annapurna twice and the remaining K2, Kanchenjunga, Dhaulagiri, Nanga Parbat, G1, G2, Broad Peak, Sisapangma once each.
