Corporate bowling from July 24 Himalayan News Service Fun World Nepal Recreation Centre is organising the Corporate Bowling Tournament from July 24-29 at Fun World Bowling Centre to mark the 59th birthday of King Gyanendra. In all, 16 corporate teams from travel agencies, cargo, hotels, casinos, cable channels and banks are taking part in the tournament, said the organisers at a press meet. “Each team must have five players including a lady participant and a team can include maximum two professional players, said Krishna Basnet, convenor of the tournament. “Each team will have to play 48 games in four days, and the top four teams will advance to the semi-finals,” added Basnet, who is also the secretary of Nepal Bowling Association. The top three teams will receive trophies while the highest scorers, both male and female, will be awarded with trophies and cash prizes.
