KATHMANDU:Everest Bank Ltd (EBL), as a part of its corporate social responsibility, has been conducting various CSR programmes for the benefit of people at large especially for the deprived section of the society, education, health, natural calamities management, environment preservation, cultural promotion, basic infrastructure improvement in rural areas, income earning capability enhancement of socially backward community, financial literacy, customer protection programmes. In this Regard, amid a function member of CSR Committee of the bank and Deputy General Manager Keshab Raj Paudel handed cheque of Rs 226,000 to Shekhar Karki, chairman of School Management Committee of Shree Machchhindra Secondary School, Dhunibesi Ward-7, Khanikhola, Dhading for power back up of energy at the school laboratory. A roof for the unhoused Best Airlines Awards to be held for the first time in Nepal Puspa Raj Uprety, head of marketing and institutional deposit; Kumar Sherpa, branch manager of Dharke Branch of the bank; and Gobardhan Godar, vice-principal of the school and various other people of the society were also present during the event.
