Everest Bank Ltd (EBL) was awarded the ‘NICCI Excellence Award’ under the finance sector during the AGM of Nepal India Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NICCI) for its better performance. Finance minister Dr Ram Saran Mahat handed over the award to D V S S V Prasad, executive director of the bank. ‘NICCI Excellence Award’ was given away under the four categories. EBL has posted a growth of 21 per cent in the operating profit amou-nting to Rs 4350 million as compared to the same period last year.
