EBL posts 21 per cent profit Himalayan News Service Kathmandu, February 10: Everest Bank Ltd (EBL) posted an operating profit of 21 per cent during the first six months of the current fiscal year 2004-05, compared to the corresponding period last year. Based on the first six month’s un-audited accounts, the bank’s operating profit reached to Rs 186.92 million. During the period, the EBL’s credit has grown by 25 per cent to Rs 7,198 million. The total deposits of the bank have increased by 18 per cent reaching to Rs 8,749 million.
