KATHMANDU:Everest Premier League Pvt Ltd and United Nations Development Programme reached an agreement for the promotion and achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. EPL Founder Aamir Akhtar and UNDP Nepal Country Director Renaud Meyer exchanged the memorandum of understanding amidst a programme on Tuesday. “Under the partnership, the UNDP and EPL will collaborate to undertake joint initiatives to raise awareness on the SDGs and mobilise relevant stakeholders and advocate for their contribution to the achievement of the goals. The partnership will also explore ways to promote and maximise the contribution of sports, especially cricket, one of the most popular sports in the country, to the sustainable development of Nepal,” said the EPL in a release.
