KATHMANDU:With the objective of expanding its network to every nook and corner of the country, Everest Bank has inaugurated its new branch at Sitapaila of Kathmandu district. The branch was inaugurated by LV Prabhakar, executive director of Punjab National Bank, a joint venture partner of Everest Bank Ltd and also a board of director of Everest Bank Ltd. The bank presently has customer base of over 950,000, one of the highest in the industry, as per a press statement. Further, the bank was recently adjudged as number two bank among commercial banks under CAMELS rating. Presently the bank is rendering professionalised and efficient banking services through its widest domestic network of 80 branches, seven extension counters, 28 revenue collection counters, 113 ATMs and wide global network.
