Eyecore is beach cricket champ KATHMANDU: In the first ever Beach Cricket Festival in Nepal Eyecore Production won by four wickets at the Nepal Ice Beach Cricket, 2010 held at the Riverside Spring Resort in Kurintar on March 27. Organised by Shangri-La Cricket Academy many corporate houses and organisations had participated in the tournament where the final was held between Eyecore and The Himalayan Times. The winning team scored the target of 73 runs in four overs on losing one wicket. The tournament also had celebrity presence as actors like Ashok Sharma, Sunil Thapa, Dipak Raj Giri, Deepa Shree Niraula and Jharana Thapa had participated for the Digital Cinema Nepal team. Everest Casino, Nepal Telecom Blue, OHCHR, Nepal Tourism Board, WWF, Ad Factor, ICIMOD, President Travels & Tour, Nepal Telecom Red, Attic Bar, Nepal Police Health Club and Nanglo International were the other participating teams. A Caribbean pool party, interactive games and live DJ music were also among the special features.
