Fire at paint factory in Chitwan CHITWAN:A sudden fire broke out today morning at a paint factory in Shivaghat, Bharatpur Metropolitan City-4 of Chitwan district. The fire that presumably started with an electric short-circuit at 7:00 am in Everest Colour Pvt Ltd had not been brought under control till 9:00 am, according to District Police Office, Chitwan. Police with the help of locals, Armed Police Force personnel, and fire engines from Kawasoti Municipality of Nawalparasi district and Hetauda Muncipality of Makawanpur district are attempting to douse the fire after single fire engine from Bharatpur Metropolis failed to control the blaze, informed Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Prabhu Prasad Dhakal, Spokesperson of Chitwan District Police Office. The paints used to colour houses are currently blazing, making it difficult to control fire, added DSP Dhakal.
