According to Thaneswar Guragai, Manager at Seven Summit Treks, Nayla Nasir scaled Mt Everest at around 8:00 am, becoming the first Emirati female to climb the world's highest peak.
Likewise, Vanessa Estol has also become the first woman from Uruguay to scale Mt Everest. Vanessa along with other climbers stood atop the mountain at around 8:30am, Guragan said.
SST Director Pasang Phurba Sherpa also scaled Mt Everest holding the flag of US-Nepal Relations (1947-2022) on the top of the world. In June, US-Nepal Friendship team will be taking the same flag to the top of Denali, the highest peak in North America, Guragai added.
Among others, He Jing from China scaled Mt Everest without using supplemental oxygen. Other climbers who scaled Mt Everest today include Oswaldo Aurelio Freire Cartagena, John Charles Bosco, Afsaneh Hesami Fard, Pasang Nurbu Sherpa, Ngima Tashi Sherpa, Ngang Tashi Sherpa, Sange Sherpa, Mingma Thinduk Sherpa, Jangbu Sherpa, Pastenji Sherpa, Angeli Sherpa, Tenjing Sherpa, Ngima Thinduk Sherpa, Lakpa Sherpa and Renji Sherpa, according to Guragai.
