French tourist missing in Everest region for a month KATHMANDU: A French tourist who went missing while coming back from the Mount Everest base camp on November 7 is yet to be found. Nassim Nador (38) was reported missing from near a bridge over the Imja Stream on the border of Pangbuche and Dibuche villages in Khumjung area while returning after trekking up to the Everest base camp. An aerial search was carried out for him immediately after the disappearance report. After a week, a seven-member joint team from the Nepal Cannoning and the Nepal Mountaineering Instructions Association launched the on-site search for him, but to no avail. The Cannoning Association member Dabindra Lama, who was also a part of the search team, said Nador's relatives have appealed to one and all for help in the search for the missing trekker via social networking sites.
