Indian mountaineer Harshvardhan Joshi has successfully scaled the summit of Mt Everest in a rare carbon neutral climb. Joshi was part of the Satori Adventure Everest Expedition and was accompanied by Furte Sherpa and Anup Rai to the top of the summit, shared Rishi Bhandari, Managing Director at Satori Adventure. According to the youth ambassador of Chirag Rural Development Foundation, Joshi is finally headed to the safety of Kathmandu after combatting storms and the pandemic. Founder of the foundation, Pratibha Pai shared, "We congratulate him, as he shines in the reflection of 'green glory'. Harsh has conquered the Everest benevolently and graciously - choosing a sustainable path to fulfill his dream and using renewable and clean solar power to protect the mountains. " Apart from mountaineering, Joshi aims to bring solar power to the remote villages of the accompanying guides and friends in Nepal.
