Indian climber Keval Kakka scales Everest, Lhotse in six days KATHMANDU:An Indian climber successfully scaled two mountains above 8,000 metres in just six days this spring season. According to Rishi Bhandari, Managing Director at Satori Adventures Pvt Ltd, Keval Hiren Kakka (28) stood atop the summit of the world’s fourth highest mountain this morning. “The Mumbai-based climber scaled Mt Lhotse leading a team of the nine-member expedition at 6:30 am,” Bhandari, who organised the expedition, shared. Earlier, Keval has scaled Mt Everest on May 16. He was a part of a 13-member expedition led by Canadian climber Mathews Vernon on Mt Everest,” Bhandari said. Keval along with Wong Wai Kin (47) and Tsang Chi Sing John (46) from Hong Kong, Lakpa Tshering Sherpa, Tashi Thundu Sherpa, Pemba Tashi Sherpa and Nima Sherpa stood atop Mt Lhotse, he added. Keval started his professional career in climbing by organising expeditions to Mt Deo Tibba (6,001m), Mt Hanuman Tibba (5,932m), Mt Friendship (5,289m), Mt Lobuche East (6,019m), Mt Stok Kangri (6,049m), Mt Manaslu (8,163m) among others, according to the expedition organiser.
