IWC’s festive raffle draw The audiovisual hall at the Indian embassy was teeming with women on November 1, expectantly waiting for the Festive Raffle draw of the Indian Women’s Club. And while the women restlessly fidgeted, to quell the din the organisers had to engage them by conducting a bingo. Over 100 women had attended the raffle draw. The aim of the raffle was to raise funds for women and children in need in Nepal. Over its 30-year existence, the IWC had been raising funds for those in need, especially Nepali women and children. The funds raised through the raffle draw will be donated for the cause of children and women in need in Nepal. The raffle was aided by several organisations like United Telicom Limited, Unilever Nepal Limited, Nepal SBI Bank Limited, Everest Bank Limited, Taj Group of Hotels, Indian Airlines and Jet Airways. The winners will be contacted personally.
