An American woman climber has become the first ovarian cancer survivor to stand atop the roof of the world this morning. Naila Kiani becomes first Pak woman to scale Lhotse, completes six 8000ers Rope-fixing team reaches Balcony, to summit Everest tomorrow ​​​According to Mingma Gyalje Sherpa, Managing Director at Imagine Nepal Treks, American climber Jessica Rae Wedel scaled Mt Everest to raise awareness about ovarian cancer. The Oklahoma-based climber also becomes the first ovarian cancer survivor to summit Everest. Jessica along with Mingma Sherpa (Ang Mingma) stood atop the summit at around 8:38am , Sherpa shared. Jessica has also attempted to scale Everest in 2021 but COVID outbreak among the Sherpa climbers kept her from making an attempt.
