KATHMANDU:Kathmandu Kings-XI bowler Sushil Kandel has been ruled out of the TVS Everest Premier League after he was injured while fielding against Chitwan Tigers at the Tribhuvan University Stadium on Thursday. The left-handed bowler was injured while trying to stop the ball struck by Dilip Nath off Amar Singh Routela in the sixth over. Kandel was rushed to Nepal Mediciti Hospital where X-rays revealed a collarbone fracture, informed Kathmandu Kings-XI team manager Manoj Neupane. Kandel is scheduled to undergo a minor operation on Friday. “According to doctors, he needs to stay at the hospital for a week,” Neupane added. Kandel was replaced in the field by Naresh Budhayer.
