Lalitpur: Prithvi School dominated the field throughout the match to thrash Triyog School 28-4 and advanced to the boys’ semi-finals of the Rato Bangala Junior Invitational School Basketball Tournament, here today. With the result, Prithvi finished runners-up in Group B and will take on Group A leaders Gyanodaya in Saturday’s semi-final. The other semi-final pits Group B leaders Swarnim and Group A runners-up Rato Bangala. Rato Bangala ‘A’ will play against its ‘B’ team in girls’ final.
KATHMANDU: Dipak Shre-stha of Nepal won a gold medal at the Ozana Cup International Karate Championship held in Las Vegas from March 24-27. Shrestha defeated a Californian opponent in the semis and beat an opponent from Los Angeles in the final.
