When it comes to peace and harmony music, most probably is the best medium to express it. With the same thought a concert ‘Music for peace and harmony 2008’ was organised at
Garden of Dreams on April 5. The event organised by AD Factor in association with Panther Premium Condoms. All the guests were welcomed with white roses symbolising peace.
The opening performers, Bishal and band failed to impress the crowd. The audience was getting restless but the NMC ensemble after them was successful to win over the audience with their fabulous instrumental music and guitar solo. The terrific performance was followed by the band Time, which is known for their progressive fusion, their original rock numbers were well complimented by the sitar fusion. But the show stealer of the evening was rock band Night, their song The rain of colours was apt for the theme of the event, with tabala fusion and ethnic beat they received a huge round of applause. They also performed their original composition Yak and songs from their upcoming album. The closing band of the event was the well-known band Raktika who performed their popular numbers and ended the show with outstanding jam up session.
