Memoranda of Understanding signed Kathmandu, November 19 Few districts and municipal chambers of commerce and industry have signed cooperation agreements with the 'One Belt One Road' International Trade Platform of CIC Mutual Trade and Investment Co Ltd, during a function held here today. Bishwo Shankhar Palikhe, president of Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI); Ram Kumar Sharma, president of Siddharthanagar CCI; Sabin Shrestha, president of Lalitpur CCI and Raju Joshi, president of Bhaktapur CCI, signed the cooperation pact for promoting tourism, trade and investment with founder of the platform Shu Ya and Zong Chaohui, executive president of OBOR International Trade Platform of CIC Mutual Trade and Investment Co Ltd. Likewise, three projects agreements were also signed during the occasion. The agreements on establishing five-star hotels in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan and Lumbini were signed between Anil Joshi, president of Surya Group and Shu Ya and Zong Chaohui from the platform. Similarly, OBOR International Trade Platform of CIC Mutual Trade and Investment Co Ltd agreed to hold four exhibitions within two years in Nepal and China. Other signatories of the agreements included Sanjeev Pyakurel, chairman of Everest Events and Exhibition Co Ltd Nepal. Another agreement was signed between Nepal Committee President Bhaskar Raj Rajkarnikar as chairman of Hydro Blaze Ltd and Shu Ya and Zong Chaohui from the platform to develop a 300 to 350MW hydropower project in the country.
