KATHMANDU:National Banking Institute (NBI) has reconstituted its board of directors, effective from October 12. Board Director Laxmi Prapanna Niraula, who is executive director of Nepal Rastra Bank, has been appointed chairman of the newly constituted board. The other members are Rajeev Jain, deputy general manager of Everest Bank, Sumed Bhattarai, deputy general manager of Laxmi Bank, Ram Dayal Rajbansi, deputy chief executive officer of Rural Microfinance Development Centre. Ex-banker Upendra Poudyal continues to be a member in the board as an independent director.
