Nepal police scale Mt Everest marking Interpol's 100th anniversary

A team of climbers from Elite Exped today scaled the world’s highest peak this morning.

A team of climbers from Elite Exped today scaled the world's highest peak this morning. Among the Everest summiteers, Senior Sub Inspector of Nepal police Purushottam Nepali has become the first Nepali police officer to stand atop the roof of the world. "Nepali along with Bikash Sherpa reached the summit point," Mingma David Sherpa, Co-Owner of Elite Exped, said. This year marks the 100th anniversary of Interpol - the organisation that fights international crime through police cooperation around the world. "Nepali scaled Everest being part of the first Nepal police expedition to mark this celebration," Sherpa said, adding that over 30 climbers from Elite Expedition reached the summit point today.
