Nepal's largest Auto Expo set for August, 35 new vehicles to launch

The Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA) is set to host the country’s biggest automobile exhibition, the “NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025,” from August 6 to 10 at Bhrikutima
The Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA) is set to host the country's biggest automobile exhibition, the "NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025," from August 6 to 10 at Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Grounds in Kathmandu. The event will feature the launch of 35 new vehicles, including 15 two-wheelers, 15 four-wheelers, and 5 commercial vehicles.
During a press meet held Monday at Sur-Sudha Hall, Soaltee Hotel, NAIMA officials announced major highlights of the upcoming expo. Organizers shared that the exhibition area has been upgraded with improved drainage and disabled-friendly infrastructure to enhance visitor experience. The expo aims to showcase cutting-edge mobility solutions, latest technologies, and sustainable transportation innovations.
Ritu Singh Vaidya, President of NAIMA stated that "NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025" will become Nepal's biggest and most impactful automobile exhibition. She also shared that all five days of the expo will feature panel discussions which will be graced by various national and international experts.
More than 50 auto brands will participate in the five-day event, with panel discussions and expert sessions planned each day. On opening day, Anil Keshari Shah will conduct a session titled "Mobility – Hijo, Aaja, ra Bholi" (Mobility – Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow). Other sessions will include representatives from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University, the Ministry of Education, National Planning Commission, Ministry of Finance, and India's Institute of Road Traffic Education.
Everest Bank Limited and National Insurance Company Limited are the main sponsors of the event. Other key partners include Khalti by IME (ticketing partner), Mountain Dew, Himalayan Java, Pathao, HIK Vision, WorldLink, Soaltee Hotel, Frontline Hospital, Ncell, and Media Space Solution. Special visitor services, including up to 30% ride discounts via Pathao and on-site emergency medical facilities from Frontline Hospital, have been arranged.
An online competition has also been launched, where one top content creator uploading NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025-related videos by August 6 will win Rs 100,000. Additionally, ten other creators will receive Rs 10,000 each for their submissions made between August 6 and 10.
Tickets for the expo are available via Khalti by IME. NAIMA has announced that 5% of ticket proceeds will go toward scholarships and research fellowships in the mobility sector for deserving students across Nepal.
