Development experts today said the National Planning Commission (NPC) was irrelevant. Dr Narayan Khadka, an NC-D leader and former vice-chairman of the NPC, said at a programme held at the Everest Press Club, “The government should restructure the NPC.”
Dr Raghav Dhwaj Panta, a former member of the NPC, said when the whole political system was on the verge of transformation, one should not carry on with the old NPC. Dr Shankar Sharma, another former vice-chairman of the NPC, said, “Time has come to explore ways through which goals can be achieved.”
