KATHMANDU: New Road Team (NRT) advanced to the semi-finals of the fourth Nepal Cup Football Tournament beating Narayangarh Football Club 2-0 at Kampachaur in Chitwan on Wednesday. Bishwo Gurung scored both the goals for the Kathmandu-based club. Gurung scored the opening goal in the 27th minute utilising Ritesh Malla’s cross from right flank. He then doubled the lead two minutes into the second half. Likewise, Boys Union Club made it to the quarter-finals with a 4-1 win over Bharatpur Football Club in tie-breaker. On Thursday, Tribhuvan Army Club will play against Birgunj Youth Club, while Nepal Police Club meet Everest Club, Chitwan.
