NYEF to organise ‘made in Nepal’ expo from Feb 22 Kathmandu, February 18: Nepal Young Entrepreneurs Forum (NYEF) is organising the second edition of Hamrai Pradarshani — Made in Nepal exhibition to promote domestic products and services. Preparations for the exhibition, which is scheduled on February 22-26 at Bhrikutimandap Exhibition hall, have been almost completed, said Saurab Jyoti, president of NYEF at press conference today. Nepali domestic products and services by all categories of industries such as small and cottage, medium and large will be displayed through 80 stalls during the event. The exhibition will also feature various industrial activities, process of Nepali industrialisation and presentation by noted industrialists and experts on contemporary issues and industrial development. Some of the resource persons are Dr Jagadish Chandra Pokharel, vice-chairman of National Planning Commission, Padma Jyoti, chairman of Jyoti Group, Prabin Pandey of Hotel Shangri-La, Anil Shah, CEO of Nabil Bank, Armin Hoffman of GTZ Nepal and a women entrepreneur Laxmi Sharma. The exhibition will also have various competitions including essay writing and report writing for school students. The campaign is a part of promotion of the domestic industry, trade and commerce to make them competitive within and domestic markets, Jyoti added.
