Nepal has collected more than Rs 770 million in mountaineering royalties during the ongoing spring climbing season, the Department of Tourism announced.

Director of the Department, Liladhar Awasthi, stated that Mt Everest continues to be the most popular, with 456 climbers (84 women and 372 men) from 45 expeditions receiving permits.
