Over Rs 9 lakh looted in City Two unidentified persons looted over nine lakh rupees from the Himalayan Society Pvt Ltd at Kholamarga in Kathmandu-2 early this morning, police said. According to the police, the two armed men tied the hands of Govinda Karki, security guard of the company, and Govinda Bamjan, kitchen staff, and locked them in toilet. The looters then broke a cupboard and took away $7,000 and NRs 400,000, the police said. Bindu Prasad Poudel is the owner of the company. Meanwhile, Rs 125,000 was stolen from the Everest and Trekking Pvt Ltd at Kathmandu Metropolitan City-4 last night, police said. Investigations are on to nab the culprits, the police said.
