Pakistani suspects granted bail The Kathmandu District Court today released two Pakistani nationals, who were arrested on suspicion of their involvement in the July 11 Mumbai blasts, on Rs 50,000 bail each. Ghulam Hussein Chima, 53, of Lahore and Aftab Muhauddin Siddhique, 56, of Karachi, were arrested by Nepal Police from room number 703 of the New Baneshwor- based Everest Hotel on July 13 in connection with possession of RDX five years ago. Police had seized 16 kg of RDX from their rented room at New Baneswor in Kathmandu on April 11, 2001. According to police officials at the District Police Office Hanumandhoka, Siddhiqui and Hussein had arrived in Kathmandu from Pakistan on July 8, 2006. The other two people arrested by the anti-terrorist cell of the police from Jagat Hotel in Thamel on the same day were released after a preliminary investigation.
