Himalayan White House College and Advance Academy recorded wins in the Patriots Cup Annual Inter-college T20 Cricket Tournament at the Mulpani grounds on Sunday. Australia wins 3rd T20, clinches 5-match series vs Sri Lanka Australia defeat Sri Lanka by 20 runs in rain-hit opening T20 White House defeated Texas College by 34 runs in the first match which was reduced to 19-over-a-side due to rain. Batting first, White House posted 160-6 before packing Texas for 126 runs in 17.3 overs. Nitesh Kumar Yadav of White House was named the player of the match for his 42-ball 60 that included 10 fours and a six. In another match, Advance Academy thrashed Omega College by 195 runs. Batting first, Advance posted 215-5 in 20 overs riding on 67-ball 103 from player of the match Dipesh Das, who hit 11 fours and three sixes in his knock. Takshak Simkhada scored 41- ball 52 for Advance. In reply, Omega were packed for 20 runs in 7.3 overs. A total of eight teams are taking part in the tournament organised by the Everest Premier League franchise Lalitpur Patriots.
