Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli extended his well wishes to mountaineer Maya Sherpa for her upcoming Annapurna and Dhaulagiri expedition while also handing over the national flag, on Saturday.

Similarly, Oli also suggested Sherpa to evaluate her health condition as well as the situation of the physical infrastructures before proceeding on the journey. Maya Sherpa, who had begun her mountaineering career back in 2003, aims to summit all 14 eight-thousanders in the world among which she has already successfully climbed five peaks. Maya Sherpa has climbed the top of the world's highest peak Mt Everest for a total of three times.
