Probe into copter crash Himalayan News Service The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has formed a six-member committee to investigate the accident of the Shree Airlines’ MI-17 helicopter at the Everest Base Camp. The team is led by Medini Prasad Sharma, joint-secretary at the ministry. The panel is to submit its report within two months. The helicopter that had flown to the Everest Base Camp on June 2 to pick up members of the Rotary Centennial Everest Expedition had met with an accident while landing.
