Rain plays spoilsport Vishal Warriors and Kantipur Gurkhas shared points after the opening match of the Wai Wai Everest Premier League was washed out here at the Tribhuvan University Stadium on Saturday. The teams collected one point each after the match was abandoned without a ball being bowled following the incessant rain. A total of six teams are competing in the event organised by Zohara Sports Management. Minister for Youth and Sports Daljit Sripali and Strategic Director of Saathi inaugurated the tournament. On Sunday, Panchakanya Tej will play against Colors X-Factor, while Sagarmatha Legends meet Kantipur Gurkhas.
