Nima Rinji met with Indian cricket team captain and Mumbai Indians batsman Rohit Sharma, and Surya Kumar Yadav on Thursday at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. He watched them train ahead of the IPL match. During their interaction, he shared his journey, upcoming projects, and initiatives, including #SherpaPower, Guardians of the Mountain, and Greatness@Teens. He also invited them for climbing and trekking in Nepal. #SherpaPower is his biographical documentary project. Guardians of the Mountain aims to create consolidated cleaning campaigns at mountains, accommodating all expedition companies based in Nepal. On Friday, Nima Rinji met Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar at his home on Turner Road in Bandra (West), Maharashtra, as part of his Greatness@Teens campaign. During the visit, Nima presented Tendulkar with an ice axe and shared insights into the life of a Sherpa at high altitudes. He invited Tendulkar to climb a 6,000-meter peak and visit Everest Base Camp. Tendulkar was impressed with Nima's journey and expressed interest in visiting Nepal alongside him. Nima provided insights into the challenges of mountain climbing. Nima Rinji has scaled 12 peaks above 8,000 meters at the age of 18, setting multiple world records.
