Climber died of altitude sickness while making rotations for final push
A Russian climber died at Camp I of the world's highest peak on Saturday evening.

According to sources at the Everest base camp, Pavel Kostrikin breathed his last at around 7:15pm on Saturday when he fell ill at Camp I.
The same sources added that he died of altitude sickness while making rotations for the Everest summit push.
Bad weather hampered efforts to conduct aerial rescue throughout the day yesterday, it has been learnt.
Once weather permits, his mortal remains will be airlifted to Kathmandu, as per base camp officials.
Pavel was a part of the expedition handled by Seven Summit Club.
Most of the climbers have been preparing for the summit pushes on Mt Everest as an 11-member Sherpa team opened the climbing route to the top of the world on Saturday evening.
