A French woman climber has made history in Everest climbing as she became the youngest female from her country to stand atop the world's highest peak this season. Born in 1998, the Alsatian woman reached the summit of Everest at 8:49am, he informed. Meanwhile, Kunjang Tshopel Sherpa has become the first female police officer of the Nepal Police to successfully climb Mt Everest this season. "Kunjang Tshopel, Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of the Nepal Police stood atop Mt Everest on may 19," Da Dendi informed. She climbed Mt Everest with the slogan: "UNITE to End Violence against Women and Girls." She had also climbed Lobuche Peak as part of her preparation for Everest. Being part of the Glacier Himalaya Everest Expedition, at least 15 climbers reached the summit point of Mt Everest this season, he added. "Kusang Chhiri Sherpa, Kaji Man Tamang, Aritra Roy, Kami Sherpa, Da Jangbu Sherpa, Da Jangbu Sherpa and Dendi Sherpa also scaled Mt Everest on May 19." Similarly, Shigeru Sakakibara, Yuki Karasawa, Chhepa Sherpa and Sona Sherpa from Glacier Himalaya scaled Everest on May 21, Da Dendi said. "It's an incredible achievement that requires immense dedication, resilience, and teamwork."
