Scores scale Mt Everest Ten members of three expeditions scaled the Mt Everest on Monday at different times, a press release issued by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation stated. Six members of Merdeka De Everest 2007, one of 2007 IMG Everest Expedition I and three from 2007 IMG Everest Expedition II sucessfully scaled the Everest from the southern route. A statement issued on Monday by the Indian Embassy said 12 Indian army personnel, accompanied by 13 Sherpas reached the summit of the Mt Everest in two batches of six officers and men of the Indian army on May 15 and 16.
