His motive in attempting the summit is to appeal the global community to reduce carbon footprint, Bhusal said. The advocate had left for the expedition a month ago, on April 15, carrying a flag with Nepal Bar Association's logo. Bhusal had previously worked as an environment advisor and has been carrying out numerous works in national and international organisations as a law expert as well. His daughter Preeti Bhusal had also successfully climbed Everest four days ago.
