A group of trained Sherpa climbers today recovered body of a Swiss climber who died above 8,000 m on Mt Everest while descending from the summit point. Nimsdai, Mingma David, others scale Everest Everest death-toll reaches three this season with one fatality reported today According to Mingma Sherpa, Chairman at Seven Summit Treks, at least 10 experienced sherpa climbers collected body of Abdul Waraich from above 8,650 m on Mt Everest and brought it to Camp II this morning. The Swiss climber had breathed his last while descending from the summit point of the world's highest peak on May 12. "This is the first ever recovery of the deceased climber's body from the highest point of the death zone," Sherpa said. According to him, efforts are underway to airlift his body to Kathmandu from Camp II once weather permits. Earlier, body of American climber Puwei Liu was pulled off from Camp IV and was airlifted to Kathmandu three days ago. As the season ends, Mt Everest recorded four deaths - two foreigners and two sherpas -in the season.
