Taiwanese dies of altitude sickness SOLUKHUMBU:A Taiwanese national has died of altitude sickness, said police officials. The deceased has been identified as Chenari Chang. Chang, who was on Everest Base Camp tour, was found dead on Thursday evening in a hotel at Khumbhu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality-4 where he had been staying, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Udaya Prasad Kattel. Chang, in his mid 40s, had arrived in Nepal on September 29. His body would be airlifted to Kathmandu for a postmortem after completing due legal process, Kattel said.
