Tap to Suketu’s beats DJ Suketu started his career when he was just 15 doing college shows, socials and private parties. He then took part in the DMC World DJ Mixing Championships in the vinyl (turntable) section and was the second runner-up in 1999-2000. DJ Suketu trained under DJ Cutmaster Swift in the art of turntablism and scratching. DJ Suketu was signed up as a Times Music artist and released his debut album called 440 Volts, which was a mega success topping charts with Pyar Zindagi Hai. In 2004, he released the single Bin Tere Sanam which was the highest selling remix of the year. His music has won him a lot of awards including the MTV Immies and is the resident DJ at The BED Lounge and Bar in Mumbai. DJ Suketu’s popularity touched new heights with the remix version for the movie track Woh Lamhe from Zeher. To have a rocking time, be there at Rox Bar, Hyatt Regency this Friday from 7:30 pm. To add to the oomph are two hot dancing divas Nilofer and Alesia Raut. DJ Bhanu and DJ Prashant Shetty from India will also be flaunting their talent. The tickets are priced at Rs 799 inclusive of a welcome drink.
