According to Lakpa Sherpa, Managing Director and Expedition Leader at 8K Expeditions, Tashi Gyalzen Sherpa reached the summit point of Mt Everest for the fourth time in just 15 days this morning.
"Tashi Gyalzen reached the summit point at around 3:13am," Lakpa said over from the base camp.
Tashi Gyalzen climbed Everest on May 9, 14, 19 and 23, Sherpa said, adding that he aimed to scale Mt Everest for the fourth time this season.
The 29-year-old climber made historic record in Everest climbing with successful four ascents in 15 days in a single season, Pemba Sherpa, Chairman at 8K Expeditions, shared. Tashi is now defending to Camp IV, according to him.
