KATHMANDU: The Ken Noguchi Everest Expedition 2007 has collected 500 kg of garbage from the Advanced Base Camp, while scaling Mt Everest from the Tibet side. The 13-member Japanese team led by Ken Noguchi collected tins, old tents, old food, medicines etc and carried them to the Base Camp, a statement issued here on Friday said. Another statement issued by the Tourism Ministry said two members and six high altitude workers of the ‘HG II Everest Expedition Spring 2007’ scaled Everest on May 24.
