TGIF... jivin’ ’n groovin’ This Friday saw an explosion of parties in almost all the town’s pubs, and the turnout proves having a nightlife has become an extremely ‘in’ thing. Happy times with Anand Venue: The Café, Hotel Everest In the event at the Hotel Everest, one thing that Harry Anand manifested was unlimited entertainment in all forms. He made sure nothing was left out when it came to making Nepali party poopers have a scintillating time. The party had all the necessary ingredients to make it a happening and plush place to be — mind-blowing music, amazing singing talent and an ambience superb for the night. The initial part of the party was handled by DJ Ankit (Resident DJ, Club Galaxy) and DJ Maddox (Resident DJ, Station Pub) with groovy and peppy music. At around, 10:30 pm, the evening’s showstopper took over the event. The floor was packed to the brim with a zealous crowd that just did not seem to get enough of Anand. He started the show with his own rollicking numbers singing along in his melodious voice and interacting with the crowd. Some of his ever popular remix tracks like Kanta Laga, Saiyan Dil Me Aana Re, Chadhti Jawani, and other numbers made the crowd dance till they dropped. And many potential Bollywood-style dancers could be spotted on the floor who flaunted their skills. (Were any filmmakers watching?) The party ‘Open Your Eyes’ featuring DJ Kiran from Mumbai at Liquid Lounge was a complete package of fun and entertainment. Though it started a bit late, Robin from PartyNepal started the party with his spinning skills which was followed by DJ Sass’s commercial and house musical extravaganza. And DJ Kiran from the Kajra Re: Mix fame stepped on the floor to make the party freaks have a ball.
