According to Pemba Sherpa, Managing Director at 8K Expeditions, Delia Matache, commonly referred to as simply Delia, along with her partner Razvan Munteanu will hike to the Everest base camp and spend a couple of weeks in the Khumbu region.
The Romanian singer , songwriter and well known TV personality, was part of the pop group N&D (1999–2003). As solo artist, she has established herself as one of the most successful Romanian artists, releasing multiple hit singles on native record charts, according to Wikipedia. The award-winning artist has over 3 million followers in social media.
"Her hike to the Everest region will attract high-end travelers to the region," Sherpa said.
The couple arrived in Kathmandu this morning and they are now on their way to Phakdim, Sherpa shared.
