Woman climbing Mt Everest to spread Buddha's message NAGARKOT:A cultural programme has been organised here in Nagarkot to support Sharmila Syangtan from Tamang community, who is set to scale the world's highest peak — Mount Everest. Syangtan is the second woman from the Tamang community to attempt Mount Everest climb to spread the message that Buddha was born in Nepal. The programme was organised to raise fund in support of Syangtan's bid to climb the highest peak also to impart a message against human trafficking, said Programme Coordinator Biku Thokar.
