X-Factors set date with Tez Colors X-Factors advanced to the final of the Wai Wai Everest Premier League, thanks to the rain that washed out the final league match against Vishal Warriors here at the Tribhuvan University Stadium today. The Paras Khadka-led Warriors, who also had chance of advancing to the final, were forced to share points with X-Factors after heavy rain played spoilsport when X-Factors were on 37-2 in 3.4 over. Hari Shankar Sah (11) and Rajesh Pulami (one) were at the crease when the downpour started. Fajlur Rahman blasted three sixes in his seven-ball 21 before being caught by Raju Rijal off Ramnaresh Giri in the third over and skipper Gyanendra Malla scored run-a-ball four with the help of a boundary after opting to bat first. Dipesh Shrestha had Malla caught by Giri in the third ball of fourth over. X-Factors accumulated seven points from five matches, one point more than Warriors, while Tez topped the table with maximum 10 points from five matches. The final between X-Factors and Tez is slated for Monday at the same venue. Earlier, Jadgamba Rhinos ended their journey with an eight-wicket victory over Sagarmatha Legends in meaningless encounter. Batting first, Legends scored 127-5 in allotted 20 overs before the Rhinos reached the target in the 17.5 overs for the loss of two wickets. Subhendu Pandey blasted an unbeaten 52-ball 78 for the Rhinos. Player-of-the-match Pandey hammered six boundaries and four sixes and also shared an unbeaten stand of 111 runs with skipper Shakti Gauchan (35) for the third wicket to hand Legends their fifth defeat. Gauchan’s 36-ball innings included four boundaries.  Legends’ Sunil Dhamala and Chandra Saud claimed a wicket each. Legends managed 127 runs riding on Mehboob Alam’s unbeaten 47 off 30 balls that included three fours and four sixes. Shankar Rana contributed 27 runs in 36 balls with the help of three boundaries, while Sandeep Sunar (13) and Anil Kumar Mandal (10) also reached double digits. Pawan Sharraf was pick of the Rhinos bowlers with three wickets, while Shah Alam and Prem Tamang claimed a wicket each.
